Writing for over 20 years, Texas singer-songwriter, Jennifer Zavaleta, wraps her rich and soulful voice around roots-influenced melodies. Her songs feel like a spiritual conversation as you ride the waves of blues, rock, folk and gospel undertones. Her latest singles, “Away, God,” and “Paper Airplane,” remind us we are not alone, and it’s never too late to start again. Jennifer commands the stage with her fiery red hair and incredibly beautiful voice, but it’s her unmistakable light that keeps you listening.
Her tenure with iconic Texas cover band, Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes, laid the groundwork for her professionalism and dependability with bookings and performances, building her stage presence and confidence as only dancing in 5 inch platforms and disco bodysuits can do.
Her transition into jazz and swing big bands, Magnificent 7 and Monster Big Band, refined her vocal capabilities and excellent ear for timing, phrasing and pitch.
Her songwriting opens up the door to her heart and soul, and serves as an outlet for her passion, singing.
